Volkswagen Scirocco III instrument cluster display repair (2008-2010 pre-facelift)

The FIS LCD display, with red backlight, of Volkswagen Scirocco III (pre-facelift models from 2008 to 2010) VDO dashboards may show the following issues:

• the half FIS display (small middle display) is fading or has pixel problems which make the displayed information difficult to read;
• the full FIS display (large middle display) is fading or has pixel problems which make the displayed information difficult to read.
