The on-board computer FIS LCD display of Volkswagen Passat B5.5 (models from 2000 to 2005) VDO dashboard may have the following issues:

the half FIS display (small middle display) is fading or has pixel problems which make the displayed information difficult to read;
the full FIS display (large middle display) is fading or has pixel problems which make the displayed information difficult to read.
