Volkswagen Touareg 7L instrument cluster colour display repair

The on-board computer colour LCD display of Volkswagen Touareg 7L (models from 2002 to 2010) dashboard may show the following issues:

• the LCD display shows lines on it or it lights up but doesn't show any information;
• the LCD display is off or it works intermittently;
• the LCD display is blank and instrument cluster backlight (numbers of the gauges) is not working.
